TAMPAN Praises Crescent University's Collaboration with creative sector

The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Ogun State Chapter, has described the collaboration between the creative sector and the academia particularly the authorities of Crescent University Abeokuta as landmark.
TAMPAN State Governor , Comrade Owolabi Ajasa stated this while reacting to the stage play titled "Asiri Ilu Egba," put together by the management of Crescent University as part of the activities to mark the 20th anniversary of the institution.
The event held at the Bola Ajibola Auditorium aattracted people from all walks of life including Pa Tubosun Odunsi, Pa Moses Omilani Egunleti, and Alhaji Ebun Oloyede, among others.
The stage play, researched and narrated by the Head of Department, Mass Communication, Dr. Kola Adesina, and directed by Yinka Saliu Kareem, showcased the rich cultural heritage and evolution of Egbaland, earning standing ovations from the audience.
Comrade Ajasa expressed his appreciation to the university's management, particularly Proprietor Prince Ma'ruf Adesegun Ajibola SAN, Vice Chancellor Prof. Gbajabiamila, and Registrar Barr. Zakariyya Ajibola, for their support.
He reaffirmed the Association's commitment to sustaining partnerships with relevant stakeholders towards the promotion of Nigerian theatre industry
Also speaking, TAMPAN Global President, Dr. Bolaji Amusan, commended the Ogun State Chapter for maintaining the Association's reputation for excellence and professionalism.
In his remarks, the Head of Department, Mass Communication, Crescent University Abeokuta, Dr. Kola Adesina emphasized the importance of such partnerships in promoting education, culture, and artistic innovation.
