Gateway FC Ends Winless Streak with 2-1 win over Crown FC

 


Gateway Football Club recorded their first victory of the season following a two- one hard fought win over Crown FC in the Nigeria National league, NNL encounter.

Babatunde Taofeek got both goals for the state owned football club in each of the match played at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena Kuto Abeokuta.

Gateway FC have played 6 matches, lost 3 games, drew 2 and win 1 to maintain the 8th position on the table with 5 points.

Speaking with Journalists after the game, Coach Ayo Filani who was excited thanked the fans for their support after the team's disappointing results since the commencement of the league.

Coach Filani expressed optimism that the victory over Crown FC would further motivate the players to give in their best in their subsequent matches especially the away games.
