HON. SANNI SULAIMON URGES UNITY, UNFLINCHING SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN’S DEVELOPMENTAL AGENDA
As Nigeria enters the New Year, Hon. Sanni Sulaimon, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State and the visionary founder of the Sanni Sulaimon Foundation, has extended his warmest felicitations to the people of Nigeria, specifically the industrious residents of the "Gateway State."
In a statement issued by His Media Aide, Hon Akeju, Hon. Sulaimon expressed deep gratitude for the resilience of the Nigerian spirit and called for a renewed sense of patriotism and community service as the nation navigates its path toward economic stability.
Highlighting the progress within Ogun State, Hon. Sulaimon emphasized the necessity of a unified front in supporting the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun.
He noted that the Governor’s "ISEYA" mantra has laid a robust foundation for sustainable growth, which requires the active cooperation of all stakeholders.
"Governance is a social contract that thrives on partnership," Hon. Sulaimon stated. "Governor Dapo Abiodun has shown an unwavering commitment to transforming our infrastructure, education, and healthcare sectors. However, for these seeds of development to bear full fruit, we as citizens and residents must provide an enabling environment through our support, constructive engagement, and law-abiding conduct."
Hon. Sulaimon thanked the people of Ogun State for their peaceful coexistence and for keeping faith with the APC-led government and pledged to expand social intervention Programmes to complement the state government’s efforts in poverty alleviation and youth empowerment.
He urged Nigerians to shun divisive tendencies and embrace the spirit of brotherhood, noting that national development is impossible in an atmosphere of chaos.
Hon. Sulaimon further remarked that the strategic investments in the Gateway Agro-Cargo International Airport and various road networks across the three senatorial districts are proofs of the Governor’s foresight.
He urged the private sector and well-meaning individuals to align their corporate social responsibilities with the state’s development goals.
"As we begin 2026, let us resolve to be partners in progress. Let us support the policies of the state government, for in the success of the Abiodun administration lies the prosperity of every Ogun State indigene and resident," the statement concluded.
