MAPOLY ISOKAN @30: A Legacy of Faith, Purpose

 


The Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowship, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) Chapter popularly known as MAPOLY ISOKAN, Heirs of God Chapel is set to celebrate its 30th Anniversary with a week-long programme of activities scheduled for September 7–13, 2026.

The anniversary celebration with the  theme “Enlarge My Coast” (1 Chronicles 4:10), is a prophetic call for expansion, divine favour, and renewed influence, as the fellowship reflects on three decades of God’s faithfulness, spiritual growth, leadership development, and community transformation.

According to the Chairman of the Anniversary Planning Committee, Elder Brother Ogo Odubote, the week long anniversary will feature a variety of spiritually enriching and socially impactful programmes, including a Community Outreach and Empowerment Initiatives , reaching communities through gospel mission and medical support, and empowerment projects.




Elder Brother Odubote listed other programmes designed for the 30th Anniversary of the Church to include, an entrepreneurship and Leadership Masterclasses to equip students, young professionals, and alumni with practical business, leadership, and personal development skills as well as a power-Packed Revival Services dedicated times of worship, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

He said that the Grand Reunion and Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Abeokuta to celebrate the legacy, honouring service, and reconnecting generations of MAPOLY ISOKAN members from around the world.

Elder Brother Odubote explained that the MAPOLY ISOKAN @30 Awards, is to recognise individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the growth of the fellowship and the advancement of God’s kingdom over the years.

Speaking on the significance of the milestone, Chairman of the Graduate Forum Prophet Wale Bakare,  described the anniversary as a divine moment of reconnection and revival.

“For 30 years, MAPOLY ISOKAN has raised generations of believers grounded in faith and purpose. This anniversary is not just about celebration—it is about legacy. It is uniting past and present members across the globe, and through our outreach, we will bring hope to our communities and lift hearts to Christ.”

Reflecting on the fellowship’s journey, Pastor Segun Akinola who is the Pioneer President and CEC Chairman, highlighted God’s faithfulness from inception to date:

“When we began this fellowship, we stood on faith alone believing God would build His church through us. Three decades later, we have witnessed growth beyond imagination. As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:6, ‘I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.’ Truly, God has enlarged our coast. This anniversary is a testimony of His grace, consistency, and divine establishment.”

On his part, the current fellowship president, Bro. Oluwatimilehin Akintola, said the described the upcoming anniversary as a life-changing opportunity for students to learn, grow, and serve

" Beyond the festivities, we are building strong spiritual and moral foundations that will inspire excellence and prepare our members to shine as light wherever they go.”

The Head of the Publicity Community, Elder Sister Temitope Lajuwomi, Head of the Publicity Committee, called on all past and present members as well those at home and abroad to actively participate towards the success of the 30 years of grace, growth, and God’s faithfulness.”

MAPOLY Rector Urges Alumni, Stakeholders to Support Institutional Growth

  The Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Abeokuta, Dr Babatunde Jolaoso has urged members of the polytechnic community to contribute towards the development of the institution.  Dr Jolaoso made the call when he received the 25/26 Alumni Executive Council of National Association of Science Technology Students, NASTES, at his office in Ojere, Abeokuta.
