MAPOLY Rector Urges Alumni, Stakeholders to Support Institutional Growth

 




The Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Abeokuta, Dr Babatunde Jolaoso has urged members of the polytechnic community to contribute towards the development of the institution. 

Dr Jolaoso made the call when he received the 25/26 Alumni Executive Council of National Association of Science Technology Students, NASTES, at his office in Ojere, Abeokuta.

The President, NASTES National Alumni, Mrs Alade Olayinka Rosiji  who was represented by the General Secretary, Mrs Omotunde Onaolapo had earlier paid a visit to the Department of Science Laboratory Technology for the presentation and commissioning of Rosiji -led 25/26 administration project.





Dr Jolaoso noted that such contributions would not only enhance the school’s growth but also position it positively beyond the shores of Nigeria.

The Rector also stressed the importance of branding and rebranding the institution’s image, encouraging ambassadors of the school to uphold its values and represent it with pride at all times.





He thanked the community for their continued support and reaffirmed management’s commitment to building a stronger, more united institution for the benefit of all.

The Rector also commended the Alumni for their commitment to the development of the department.

Also speaking, The Head of Department, Dr. Adewale Adebambo lauded the set for contributing their quota to the development of the institution.

Earlier, The President, NASTES National Alumni, Mrs Alade Olayinka Rosiji 
who was represented by the general secretary, Mrs. Omotunde Onaolapo, had explained that the donation was part of their contributions to the school especially the department of Science Laboratory Technology.

Top management officials present included the Deputy Rector, Dr. Lanre Iyanda, the Registrar, Mrs. Olubunmi Elewodu, and other key academic and administrative staff.

Also in attendance were members of the Alumni Executive, alumni volunteers, as well as the 2025/2026 NASTES student leadership, led by President Comrade Akilo Suliyah Oriyomi.
