Easter: Allstars FC President Preaches Unity, Hope, Brotherhood

 


The President of Allstars Football Club Abeokuta, Alhaji Lawal Adeoye Waheed  has congratulated  all Christians, particularly esteemed members of the club, on the joyous occasion of Easter celebration.


Easter is a sacred season that symbolizes sacrifice, renewal, hope, and the triumph of life over death. It serves as a profound reminder of the enduring values of love, unity, selflessness, and forgiveness, virtues that are essential not only in our faith but also in our daily interactions and collective pursuit of progress.


Alhaji Lawal in a statement, urged all members and the wider Christian community to embrace the spirit of Easter by fostering peace, strengthening bonds of brotherhood, and promoting harmony within the club and the society at large. 


He emphasized the importance of reflecting on the teachings of Jesus Christ, which inspires us to live with compassion, humility, and unwavering faith.


“As we celebrate this holy season, let us renew our commitment to unity, sportsmanship, and mutual respect, which define us as a club and as a community. May the blessings of Easter bring renewed strength, joy, and prosperity to all our members and their families,” he stated.


The President also encouraged members to continue upholding the values of discipline, teamwork, and excellence that Allstars Football Club Abeokuta represents.


He wished all Christians a peaceful, joyful, and fulfilling Easter celebration.
