EID AL-ADHA: DR ABIMBOLA BABALOLA FELICITATES MUSLIMS, CALLS FOR UNITY, SACRIFICE

The Chairman of the Ogun State Wrestling Association, Dr. Abimbola Babalola, has congratulated Muslim faithful in Ogun State, across Nigeria, and around the world on the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha.

 Dr. Babalola in a message through the Association's media officer Olusegun Folarin, described Eid al-Adha as a significant spiritual celebration that symbolizes obedience, sacrifice, love, compassion, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

He urged Muslims and Nigerians in general to imbibe the noble virtues exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, particularly selflessness, tolerance, perseverance, and commitment to peace and humanity.

According to him, “Eid al-Adha reminds us all of the importance of sacrifice for the greater good, unity among our people, and unwavering faith in God. As we celebrate, let us continue to pray for the peace, progress, and development of Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.”


Dr. Babalola also called on citizens to use the festive period to promote harmony, mutual understanding, and support for one another irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

The Ogun State Wrestling Association Chairman encouraged youths to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to positive engagements, especially through sports and community development initiatives.
