Nigeria’s Flamingos have taken a major step toward qualification for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup after a resounding five-nil victory over Guinea in Abidjan.

Harmony Chidi led the charge with three goals, including a stunning opener seconds into the game.

Adegbuyi and Dunstan also found the net as the Nigerian girls overwhelmed their opponents in the first-leg encounter.

The second leg comes up next Saturday in Ikenne-Remo.
