Ogun Pilgrims Complete Jamrat Rite in Saudi Arabia
Pilgrims from Ogun State participating in the 2026 Hajj in Saudi Arabia have successfully completed the symbolic stoning of the Jamrat in Mina, marking the end of one of the major rites of the pilgrimage.
Executive Secretary of the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Taiwo Ajibola, in an interview with OGIS correspondent, praised the pilgrims for their orderly conduct during the exercise, which was carried out in batches.
Alhaji Ajibola congratulated the pilgrims on the successful completion of the major Hajj activities and urged them to sustain the values and lessons gained during the spiritual journey.
The stoning exercise lasted three days, after which the pilgrims began returning to the holy city of Mecca for the concluding rites of the Hajj.
