Police Launch Tactical Operation After Abduction of Three in Ogun Estate

The Ogun State Police Command says it has intensified tactical and intelligence operations following the abduction of three persons at Ipojo Golden Estate in the Oke-Eri area of Ijebu-Ode.
The victims, identified as two women and a man from the same family, were reportedly abducted on Monday evening when suspected gunmen invaded the estate with sophisticated weapons.
Witnesses had told the DIGESTABLE that the attackers forcefully entered a residence, searched the building, and whisked away the victims.
In a reaction, the head of the affected family, Yesiru Badewa, appealed to security agencies and Nigerians for assistance, expressing concern over the health condition of one of the abducted victims said to be ill.
The Police Public Relations Officer Mr Oluseyi Babaseyi who confirmed the incident said the command had deployed operatives to rescue the victims and apprehend those responsible.
Mr Babaseyi assured residents that the police remained proactive and committed to combating kidnapping and other violent crimes across Ogun State.
