Police, Stakeholders Strengthen Community Security Partnership

The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, Mr Bode Ojajuni, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to community-based policing and stronger stakeholder engagement across the state.

Mr  Ojajuni made this known while attending the monthly meeting of the Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC, alongside the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, Murtala Bolanle.

He appreciated members of the PCRC and other stakeholders for their continued support through intelligence sharing, advocacy, and community engagement.

Mr Ojajuni stressed that effective policing depends on strong partnerships with the public and assured residents of the Command’s resolve to sustain peace, improve security, and address emerging threats across Ogun State

Speaking during the meeting, the PCRC Chairman, Comrade Lawal Abdullahi, commended the Commissioner of Police for personally attending the engagement, describing it as a first in Ogun State and a clear demonstration of commitment to community policing.

The meeting focused on improving intelligence sharing, strengthening public safety coordination, and enhancing collaboration between the police and communities in tackling security challenges
