Rector Urges MAPOLY Community to Embrace Love, Collective Growth

 




The Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Dr Koye Jolaoso, has called on members of the Polytechnic community to continue to embrace unity, togetherness and sacrifice as Muslims across the country celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

Dr Jolaoso made the call while congratulating Muslim staff and students of the institution on the festive season.

The Rector commended members of the Muslim community for their dedication and contributions to the growth of the Polytechnic, urging them to sustain the spirit of love, cooperation and dignity in service for the progress of the institution and society.

He also encouraged the Ummah to emulate the obedience, faith and sacrificial lifestyle of Prophet Ibrahim, describing Eid-el-Kabir as a reminder of submission to God, charity and peaceful coexistence.

Dr Jolaoso added that with collective commitment, team spirit and focus, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic would continue to grow stronger and maintain its leading position in vocational and technical education.

Meanwhile, the Rector has approved 12 noon closure of work on Tuesday, May 2026, to enable staff prepare adequately for the Sallah celebration.

The Federal Government had earlier declared Wednesday, May twenty-seventh and Thursday, May twenty-eighth, twenty twenty-six, as public holidays for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Dr Jolaoso, on behalf of the Governing Council, management, staff and students of the Polytechnic, wished Muslims a peaceful and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

MAPOLY Rector Urges Alumni, Stakeholders to Support Institutional Growth

  The Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Abeokuta, Dr Babatunde Jolaoso has urged members of the polytechnic community to contribute towards the development of the institution.  Dr Jolaoso made the call when he received the 25/26 Alumni Executive Council of National Association of Science Technology Students, NASTES, at his office in Ojere, Abeokuta. The President, NASTES National Alumni, Mrs Alade Olayinka Rosiji  who was represented by the General Secretary, Mrs Omotunde Onaolapo had earlier paid a visit to the Department of Science Laboratory Technology for the presentation and commissioning of Rosiji -led 25/26 administration project.
