The President of All Stars Football Club Abeokuta, Alhaji Waheed Adeoye Lawal, has described the Director General of the National Sports Commission, NSC, Chief Bukola Olopade as an exceptional sports administrator, visionary leader, and passionate advocate for sports development in Nigeria.


In a goodwill message marking the occasion of his birthday, Alhaji Lawal commended Olopade for his unwavering commitment to the growth and transformation of the nation's sports sector, noting that his leadership has continued to inspire confidence among stakeholders across the country.


According to him, "On behalf of the management, players, and members of All Stars Football Club Abeokuta, I heartily congratulate the Director General of the National Sports Commission, Bukola Olopade, on the celebration of his birthday. We celebrate a distinguished sports administrator whose dedication, professionalism, and innovative approach have continued to elevate sports development in Nigeria."

Alhaji Lawal particularly lauded the efforts of the NSC Director General towards the revamping and modernization of the historic Mudal Lawal Stadium, Asero, Abeokuta, describing the project as a significant milestone for sports development in Ogun State and the South-West region.

"The renewed attention being given to the Muda Lawal Stadium is highly commendable. This facility holds a special place in the history of Nigerian football and sports. The efforts to restore and upgrade the stadium will provide a conducive environment for athletes, football clubs, and sports enthusiasts while creating opportunities for talent discovery and grassroots sports development," he stated.

The All Stars FC President  expressed confidence that under Olopade's stewardship, the National Sports Commission will continue to implement policies and initiatives that will reposition Nigeria as a leading sporting nation on the continent and beyond.


He prayed for God's continued guidance, wisdom, good health, and greater accomplishments for the celebrant as he continues to serve the nation and the sports community with distinction.

"Once again, we wish Bukola Olopade a happy birthday and many more years of impactful service to Nigerian sports and national development," the statement concluded.
