Crescent University Honours Law Team for International Moot Court Success

The management of Crescent University, Abeokuta, has hosted members of its Law team who won the Spirit of the Competition Award at the International Bar Association, International Criminal Court Moot Competition held in The Hague, Netherlands.
The ceremony took place at the Erelu Auditorium of the Bola Ajibola College of Law on Monday, June 23rd, 2026.
The award-winning team comprises Justus Adeyemi, Hadiqah Orisadare, Muhammedgazaal Abudu, Fareedah Akinsola, and Karamat Lawal, under the guidance of their coach, Doctor Mujeeb Imran.
Speaking at the event, the Proprietor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prince Ma'ruf Adesegun Ajibola, expressed delight that the vision of the university's founder, the late Prince Bola Ajibola, had become a reality.
The Proprietor also approved cash rewards for each team member as a reward for their outstanding performance, while a friend of the institution also donated additional cash prizes.
Also, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, praised the Bola Ajibola College of Law for its numerous achievements, noting the academic and moral excellence of its graduates, including several first-class alumni.
Team coach, Doctor Mujeeb Imran, commended the university management for its financial, moral, and intellectual support throughout the competition.
He also acknowledged the encouragement provided by the Registrar, Prince Zakariyyah Ajibola.
