Ogun Government Records Steady Progress on Ogbeere Road Project in Ijebu East

The Ogun State Government says construction work is progressing steadily on the ongoing Ogbeere Road Project in Ijebu East Local Government Area.

The project, being executed under the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun, has reached another significant stage, with contractors currently spreading and compacting stone base materials near the Ijebu East Local Government Headquarters.

Officials on site also report that the spraying of MC-1 prime coat is ongoing at Chainage 4+000, opposite the General Hospital in Ogbeere, as part of preparations for asphalt paving.

In addition, the laying and compaction of the asphaltic concrete course are presently underway at the same location, marking a major milestone in the delivery of the road project.

The state government says the intervention is aimed at improving road infrastructure, boosting connectivity, facilitating economic activities, and enhancing the quality of life of residents in the area.

Contractors are maintaining steady progress as work continues towards the successful completion of the project.
