Ogun SUBEB Confirms Ogunteach Interns as Permanent Teachers

The Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, has presented letters of permanent appointment to beneficiaries of the Ogun State Teaching Experience Acquisition Channel, known as OGUNTEACH, following the successful completion of their two-year internship programme.

Speaking at the Board Secretariat in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, SUBEB Chairman, Evangelist Olalekan Ifede, described the event as a major milestone and commended the teachers for their dedication, resilience and commitment during the internship period.

He urged the newly appointed teachers to embrace their new status with greater professionalism and responsibility, while also applauding Governor Dapo Abiodun for fulfilling his promise to absorb them into the teaching workforce.

Evangelist Ifede charged the teachers to deliver quality education, introduce innovative teaching methods and ensure that pupils under their care can read, write and communicate effectively.

Also speaking, Permanent Member Four of the Board, Rt. Hon. Akeem Balogun, encouraged the teachers to remain committed to improving basic education and to maintain respect for senior colleagues.

He also encouraged those with NCE qualifications to pursue degree programmes.
