Allstars Football Club Abeokuta Congratulates Hon. Nuraen Olowofuja on New Appointment

The Allstars Football Club, Abeokuta, has congratulated Hon. Nuraen Idowu Olowofuja on his appointment as Special Consultant to the Governor of Ogun State.


The President of the Club, Alhaji Lawal Adeoye Waheed in a congratulatory message described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Hon. Olowofuja's dedication, integrity, and commitment to public service and the development of Ogun State.

Alhaji Lawal noted that Hon. Olowofuja has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership, sportsmanship, and a strong commitment to community development, both within and outside the sporting arena.

According to him, his appointment is not only a personal achievement but also a source of pride for the football community, youth development, and the people of Abeokuta.

Alhaji Lawal expressed confidence that his experience and vision would contribute meaningfully to the progress of Ogun State and wished him wisdom, strength, and success in his new role.

Ogun Opens Registration for 2027 Hajj Exercise

Aina Obasanjo  The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced registration for the 2027 Hajj exercise, calling on intending pilgrims to begin preparations for the pilgrimage. Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Taiwo Ajibola, made the announcement while speaking with journalists at the Board's office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.  Alhaji Ajibola said prospective pilgrims are required to make an initial deposit of eight million naira, pending the official Hajj fare to be announced by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria. He urged interested applicants to complete their payments early to secure a place for the pilgrimage, noting that the registration exercise is expected to close on or before September 2026. Alhaji Ajibola advised intending pilgrims to visit the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board at the New Secretariat, Block B, Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, or contact the Board through its official telephone lines for further enquiries.
