The Elega/Saje Progressive Support Group (ESPSG) has endorsed Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.

The coordinator of the group, Prince Adekunle Idowu in a statement in Abeokuta said the endorsement followed consultations among members across Abeokuta North and Abeokuta South.

Prince Idowu explained that the ESPSG is a grassroots movement committed to community development and good governance rather than partisan politics.

The Coordinator stated that the membership comprises professionals, entrepreneurs, artisans, traders, students and other stakeholders drawn from different sectors of society.

He expressed confidence that Senator Adeola's leadership would promote infrastructure development and improve the welfare of residents across Ogun State.

Prince Idowu also announced plans to intensify grassroots mobilisation and community-based projects ahead of the 2027 elections, saying members would continue to work together in support of what it described as a shared vision for the state's development.

He reaffirmed its commitment of the group to the values of loyalty, unity and service to the people while calling on its members and supporters to remain focused on community engagement and development initiatives.
