Ogun I Customs Area Command mourns Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom.

The Ogun One Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has expressed sadness over the death of the Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom, Oba Yisa Olaniyan Adelakun.
In a condolence message, the Customs Area Controller, Deputy Comptroller Oladapo Afeni, described the late traditional ruler as a respected custodian of culture, a promoter of peace and a committed advocate of community development.
Deputy Comptroller Afeni said the late monarch played a key role in strengthening cooperation between the Nigeria Customs Service and residents of the border community, a partnership that enhanced border security and supported economic stability in the area.
He described the monarch as a father figure, a wise counsellor and a dependable stakeholder whose contributions to mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence would be greatly missed.
The Customs Area Controller extended condolences to the royal family, the Ipokia Traditional Council and the people of Ipokia Kingdom, praying for the peaceful repose of the late monarch's soul and for the family to receive the strength to bear the loss.
