PDP Reaffirms Commitment to Women's Political Inclusion – Arc. Olaleye

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate for the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta North, Odeda, and Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency, Arc. Oladele AbdulQuadri Olaleye, has reaffirmed the party's unwavering commitment to promoting women's participation in politics and governance.


Arc. Olaleye who stated in an interview with Journalists in Abeokuta, noted that the PDP recognizes that women are not only the backbone of families and communities but also essential partners in nation-building. 

The PDP House of representatives candidate for Abeokuta North, Odeda, and Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency, emphasized that sustainable development can only be achieved when women are given equal opportunities to participate actively in the electoral process, decision-making, and leadership.


Arc. Olaleye noted that the PDP has consistently advocated  greater inclusion of women through policies that encourage their involvement as voters, campaigners, party leaders, candidates, and elected public officials. 


He called on women across Abeokuta North, Odeda, and Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency to remain actively engaged in the democratic process by registering to vote, participating in political activities, and aspiring to leadership positions. 

Arc. Olaleye assured them that his representation would support initiatives that promote gender equality, economic empowerment, education, and improved opportunities for women and girls.

He further stressed that a government that values women's voices is better positioned to deliver inclusive policies, foster peace, and drive sustainable development. He pledged to work closely with women's groups, youth organizations, and community leaders to ensure that women have a stronger voice in governance and public policy.


"As we continue to build a better future for our constituency, women must be at the center of our development agenda. Together, we can create a society where everyone, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to progress and prosperity," Arc. Oladele AbdulQuadri Olaleye said.

He reaffirmed the commitment of PDP to foster an inclusive political environment where women are respected, empowered, and encouraged to take their rightful place in leadership and the democratic process.
