Birthday: Olaleye Describes Anifowose as Dependable Pillar of Leadership

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Candidate for Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency stakeholder, Arc. Dele Olaleye, has congratulated the former Party Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaji Akeem Anifowose, on his birthday.


In a congratulatory message, Arc. Olaleye described Alhaji Anifowose as a dependable leader whose years of experience, political understanding and commitment to the people have continued to distinguish him.


He said the celebrant remains a man of unquestionable loyalty and integrity, noting that his dedication to duty and commitment to the growth of the party are worthy of commendation.


Arc. Olaleye expressed appreciation to Alhaji Anifowose for his contributions to the party and for serving as a mentor, father figure and dependable pillar of support to many.


He wished the former party chairman good health, long life and continued success as he celebrates another year.

Ogun Opens Registration for 2027 Hajj Exercise

Aina Obasanjo  The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced registration for the 2027 Hajj exercise, calling on intending pilgrims to begin preparations for the pilgrimage. Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Taiwo Ajibola, made the announcement while speaking with journalists at the Board's office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.  Alhaji Ajibola said prospective pilgrims are required to make an initial deposit of eight million naira, pending the official Hajj fare to be announced by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria. He urged interested applicants to complete their payments early to secure a place for the pilgrimage, noting that the registration exercise is expected to close on or before September 2026. Alhaji Ajibola advised intending pilgrims to visit the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board at the New Secretariat, Block B, Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, or contact the Board through its official telephone lines for further enquiries.
