ELEGA–SAJE PROGRESSIVE SUPPORT GROUP ORGANISES FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH IN ABEOKUTA

The Coordinator of the Elega–Saje Progressive Support Group, Prince Adekunle Idowu says arrangements have been concluded to hold a free medical outreach for residents of Abeokuta as part of efforts to promote access to basic healthcare services.
Prince Adekunle, who disclosed this in a statement in Abeokuta explained the outreach is in support of the gubernatorial ambition of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
The Elega–Saje Progressive Support Group coordinator noted that the medical outreach will take place on Saturday, the 8th of August, 2026, at Saje Junction, Abeokuta, Ogun State, beginning at 9 o'clock in the morning.
He explained that the programme will feature free medical consultation, blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, free dispensing of prescribed drugs, as well as health education and counselling.
Prince Idowu urged residents of Abeokuta and neighbouring communities to take advantage of the initiative by turning out in large numbers to benefit from the free healthcare services.
He noted that the outreach was in line with the commitment of the group to improve the well-being of the people while supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life of residents across Ogun State.
