NNL Unveils Eight Promoted Teams Ahead of 17th AGM in Owerri






The Nigeria National League, NNL, has unveiled eight clubs promoted from the Nationwide League One, NLO, ahead of its 17th Annual General Meeting scheduled to hold in Owerri, Imo State, on Friday.



The eight clubs are Dekkal Khairu FC of Osun State, Mighty Jets Feeders of Plateau State, Neurospark FC of the Federal Capital Territory, DMD FC of Borno State, Right-2-Win FC of Abia State, OYC FC of Delta State, Junior Danburan FC of Katsina State, and Ikorodu City FA of Lagos State.


The clubs will be formally inducted into the NNL during the AGM.



The meeting is also expected to feature the presentation of the league's audited accounts for the 2025/2026 season.



speaking with Journalists, NNL Chairman, Chief George Aluo, welcomed the newly promoted clubs, urging them to uphold discipline, good conduct and the values of the league.



Chief Also said their admission into the NNL marks an important step in their development and expressed confidence that they would abide by the rules and regulations governing the competition.



The AGM, scheduled for Rockview Hotel near Government House, Owerri, will also deliberate on issues of transparency and accountability, as well as preparations for the 2026/2027 NNL season.



All 34 clubs, comprising the existing and newly promoted teams, are expected to attend the meeting.
