Ogun PDP Pays Tribute to Late Party Leader, Superior Evangelist Soyemi Cookerr

The Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of one of its prominent leaders, Superior Evangelist Soyemi Cooker.
In a statement by the Ogun State PDP Chairman, Dr. Abayomi Tella, the party described the late Cooker as a loyal and committed member whose contributions to the growth of the party and the development of his community would remain unforgettable.
The statement noted that the late Evangelist Cooker was a devoted Christian known for his compassion, generosity, and commitment to the welfare of the less privileged.
It added that his home was always open to those in need, reflecting his lifelong dedication to humanitarian service.
According to the party, his passion for public service earned him the opportunity to serve as Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government and later as a member of the Ogun State House of Assembly.
The Ogun PDP extended its condolences to the Cooker family, friends, and political associates, praying that God would grant them the strength to bear the loss and provide comfort during this difficult period.
Until his passing on July 19, 2027, he was serving as the Collegiate Chairman of the party.
