YAYI at 57: All Stars FC Abeokuta Celebrates Senator Adeola, Commends His Service to Ogun

The President of All Stars Football Club, Abeokuta, Alhaji Lawal Adeoye Waheed has congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, on the occasion of his birthday.

Alhaji Lawal who spoke in Abeokuta on behalf of the executive committee, players, members and entire family of the club, described Senator Adeola as a distinguished public servant, astute politician, philanthropist and a strong advocate for the development and progress of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.

The All Stars Football Club Abeokuta President noted that Senator Adeola’s contributions to the growth of his constituency, Ogun State and the nation remain worthy of commendation, particularly his commitment to empowering the people, supporting community development and promoting initiatives that positively impact the lives of citizens.

Alhaji Lawal who is also the Chairman, Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria YSFON , Ogun State Chapter and Chairman, Ogun State TEQBALL  Association noted that Senator Adeola’s journey in public service is a testament to the importance of dedication, resilience and service to humanity.

“On behalf of the entire family of All Stars Football Club Abeokuta, I warmly congratulate our dear Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, YAYI, on the occasion of his birthday. We celebrate not only your life, but also your remarkable contributions to our society and your unwavering commitment to the people.”

Alhaji Lawal prayed Almighty God would continue to grant Senator Adeola good health, wisdom, strength and greater accomplishments as he advances in his service to humanity.

He also expressed confidence that Senator Adeola would continue to deploy his experience, influence and goodwill towards initiatives that promote youth development, sports, empowerment and the overall socio-economic development of Ogun State.

“May this new chapter of your life bring you greater fulfilment, peace, prosperity and renewed opportunities to make an even greater impact. We wish you many more years of good health, happiness and purposeful service to humanity,” the President added.

Ogun Opens Registration for 2027 Hajj Exercise

Aina Obasanjo  The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced registration for the 2027 Hajj exercise, calling on intending pilgrims to begin preparations for the pilgrimage. Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Taiwo Ajibola, made the announcement while speaking with journalists at the Board's office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.  Alhaji Ajibola said prospective pilgrims are required to make an initial deposit of eight million naira, pending the official Hajj fare to be announced by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria. He urged interested applicants to complete their payments early to secure a place for the pilgrimage, noting that the registration exercise is expected to close on or before September 2026. Alhaji Ajibola advised intending pilgrims to visit the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board at the New Secretariat, Block B, Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, or contact the Board through its official telephone lines for further enquiries.
