The Leader of the Aje Traders for YAYI Support Group, Mrs. Onibide Folake, has reaffirmed the group’s unwavering support for the reelection of  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

Speaking on behalf of the group in Abeokuta, Mrs. Onibide Folake said the decision to renew their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Adeola is driven by his leadership qualities, commitment to the development of the state, and the confidence that traders and other members of the business community have in his capacity to provide purposeful and people-oriented leadership.

According to her, traders are important stakeholders in the economic development of the state and deserve a government that understands their challenges, protects their interests, and creates an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

“As traders, we understand the importance of good leadership because government policies directly affect our businesses, our families, and our livelihoods. We have therefore decided to renew our support for the re election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, because we believe in his capacity to provide responsible and responsive leadership.

“Our support is not merely about politics; it is about our desire for progress, stability, economic opportunities, and a government that will listen to the voices of ordinary people. The Aje Traders for YAYI Support Group stands firmly with YAYI, and we are committed to mobilising our members and supporters toward his success at the polls.”

Mrs. Onibide further called on traders, market leaders, artisans, entrepreneurs, and other residents to actively participate in the electoral process and make informed choices based on the candidates’ vision, competence, and commitment to the people.

She assured the group’s members that the Aje Traders for YAYI Support Group would continue to engage with traders at the grassroots, sensitise them on the importance of participating in the election, and promote peaceful and orderly democratic participation.

Mrs Onibide also urged supporters to remain peaceful and law-abiding throughout the electioneering period, stressing that political differences should never undermine the unity and peaceful coexistence of the people.

She reiterated the group’s commitment to  the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and YAYI project, expressing optimism that Senator Solomon Adeola’s candidacy represents an opportunity for greater development, inclusive governance, and improved economic prospects for the people.
