The Convener of the ASA Political Movement, Engineer Abolore Sodrudeen Ayodeji has intensified grassroots mobilisation in support of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
Engineer Ayodeji made the call during an engagement with residents of Fijabi in Odeda Local Government Area and neighbouring communities.
He said his support for Senator Adeola was informed by the senator’s interventions in education, human capital development and other areas.
Engineer Ayodeji urged residents to support and mobilise votes for the All Progressives Congress governorship hopeful, expressing confidence that his administration would improve the welfare of the people if elected.
He also encouraged the residents to support the policies and reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing optimism that sustained implementation would produce positive results for Nigerians.
The ASA convener said the movement would continue to engage communities across Ogun Central to promote Senator Adeola’s governorship ambition.
Earlier, Engineer Ayodeji held a similar engagement at Ita Peters in Ward Six, Abeokuta South Local Government Area, where more than three hundred artisans, traders, civil servants and community leaders reportedly gathered to discuss the senator’s ambition.
In a remark, a former Vice Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. Saheed Adeogun, commended Engineer Ayodeji for his grassroots mobilisation efforts.
Hon. Adeogun described the decision to support Senator Adeola as a reflection of confidence in his leadership capacity.
The Fijabi engagement was attended by community leaders, political stakeholders, representatives of women’s groups, the Bada of Fijabi and the Chief Imam of the community, Imam Jamiu Yusuf.
